Let’s Try This Again
To say 2020 was an eventful year is probably an understatement. I don’t think anyone has been unaffected by the Pandemic but, alas it’s a new year again so it is probably best to try and forget 2020 and start afresh with 2021 even if Covid doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere for at least a good few months.
I’m going to try and publish anything no matter how small so, here I am publishing this story on the 31st January just a few hours before the first month of the year ends just so I have a story for this month.
2019 was a great year; I managed to write 12 stories, one for each month. Even though I may not have written one for every month the goal was to have 12 stories which I managed to do. With everything that happened in 2020, I do feel like certain aspects of my life regressed with everything going on and the whole world turning upside down. I know 2021 will continue to be a difficult year with the Covid still affecting the vast majority of the world and peoples lives but, I need to try and reclaim the good things I managed to accomplish in 2019 however small, I need those small wins.
So, here's to a better 2021 for us all.
I really should try and plan out what story I will write about as it would really help if I had some sort of structure to my writing as this free flow crap isn’t really doing me any favours and it’s probably a big reason I can’t stick to writing.
